The Mom Loft
The event that started it all.
The Mom Loft was District Motherhued’s inaugural event that took place in 2016 and was dubbed “The Ultimate Moms Night Out”. The Mom Loft featured a pamper suite, complimentary cocktails/mocktails, a surprise #bossmom speaker, complimentary photo shoot and headshot and swag bags. The Mom Loft set the standard for District Motherhued® events and mom events going forward.
The Momference
The Momference® is powered by District Motherhued® and debuted in 2018. The Momference® is premier, one-day conference for bomb brown moms boasting a celebrity keynote, regionally and nationally acclaimed mom influencers, panels, workshops, vendors and top-tier, multi-cultural focused products. The Momference® champions all things FUBU (For Us, By Us) and #BlackMomMagic.
Boobs in the Park
In celebration of Black Breastfeeding Week, Boobs In The Park is a casual gathering of black and brown expecting moms, breastfeeding moms and breastfeeding enthusiasts. Guests are invited to bring their babies and blankets to gather in the park. The event features information shared from two local IBCLCs (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant), an opportunity to get breastfeeding questions answered, while enjoying light refreshments and bonding with other bomb, black nursing moms.
Mommy En Blanc®
A spin on díner en blanc, #MommyenBlanc is the nation’s first #mommyandme, all white pop-up picnic held at an undisclosed location. It’s BYOB – bring your own baby/baby bump, blankets, bites.
What We've Lost
Pregnancy and Infant loss awareness month is observed around the world each year to remember pregnancy and infant loss. District Motherhued hosts an annual intimate gathering to hold space for women with a lived experience of loss through childbirth, miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, or any other cause at any point in pregnancy or infancy.
This event is a free flowing event featuring a keepsake activity, guest speakers sharing their experience with child loss, and opportunities for hugs, prayer and reflection! Information on additional support is also provided to guests.
Momsgiving
Momsgiving is our mom friendly spin on friendsgiving; an intimate seated dinner inviting 100 mamas for fellowshipping, conversation and sharing thankful moments over cocktails, dinner and dancing.
