Target Is In Formation For Black History Month

Happy Black History Month, Mamas!

We’re black and proud EVERYDAY; however, there is an extra sense of pride this month. Black History Month is a time to reflect on the sacrifices of our ancestors, celebrate their advancements and highlight those (AKA you and me!) currently living their wildest dreams because of the way paved for before us.

Diversity and inclusivity, while we know it’s now trendy, we still can’t help but to beam when big box brands get it right. So shout out to Target for their dedicated Black History Month collection! 

I meannn, that’s Target.com’s homepage. They did that, right? For the month of February, in-stores and on Target.com, you’ll find an assortment of limited edition, curated apparel + haircare and skincare catered to us via “Target Finds” collections. Now, Target isn’t actually new this this. Last year, they introduced 8 new, black- owned beauty brands to their roster, recently adding several more including The Lip Bar. So they’ve got this diversity thing on lock courtesy of their Senior Beauty Buyer, Jasmin Foster (yes, she’s a brown girl).

Anyways, back to this collection. We spotted the cutest tees and onesies for the entire family. Shop of our faves below.
